Win A Custom Action Figure Contest

We were given this little guy by a friend who didn't want it - (yes, he's a dumb ass) and we figure we can customize it in some way. The thing is, we also received a shipment of...um..."herbs" and after partaking in the "herbs" we have no idea what to turn him into. That's where you come in. Leave a comment below with a suggestion and the person that we think has the best idea can keep it...the figure that is -ideas belong to everyone, so keep your fucking hands off my thoughts!
Hurry though, the longer this naked muscle man sits atop my computer desk the more the office staff starts to question my sexuality.

New G.I. Joe Action Figures

Finally, they're making a live action G.I. Joe movie and that means new action figures. At the New York Toy Fair convention, Hasbro has unveiled the first wave of figures that will grace store shelves this spring/summer. Our favorites are Snake Eyes and Baroness, but what's with those "looks like Destro, but isn't Destro" figures? And where the hell is Cobra Commander? It's our opinion that "sack head" Cobra Commander is one of the coolest designs ever for an action figure, and to not include him is...something bad. This movie is going to suck.

Anyway, enjoy this gallery of new Joes via: Wizarduniverse.com

Give Your G.I. Joe's A Real Leader

Whether He's leading the free world, taking down terrorist's or defeating the Dark Side, this Obama action figure is all about kicking ass. Loaded with articulation points, this figure features three sets of removable hands, two heads, two neckties (to go with said heads), a katana, 9mm hand gun, assault rifle, lightsaber, microphone, American flag, sitting stool, and for when he's not breaking necks - a picnic blanket and bowl of fruit.

Mickey Prime-The Transforming Rodent

Sometimes the distinction between genius and stupidity is nothing more than perception. In this case, it's the merging of two distinct IP's into one abomination of a toy...but he is cute. Perhaps the pre-adolescent Micheal Bay in your family would appreciate this, or at least have some fun blowing it up. Available from Amazon Japan, Mickey comes in full color and classic black & white versions for the small sum of 2,990 yen.

Dolls Are For Girls..& Zombies

Global420 has brought Left 4 Dead into the real world with these awesome custom figures. So far, he's created Bill and Louis and an army of nine zombies, including a very hungry looking Hunter, suspended in air. I don't know about you, but I'm wondering what this guy can do with Cookin' Mama.

When Is An Action Figure Worth $175?

When it looks this good! This 1:6 scale representation of the Dark Knight Joker (bank robber) is one of the most life like figures that I have ever come across. Stands 12" tall with over 32 articulation points and accessories galore, including two interchangeable heads, clown mask, handgun, MK760 rifle, and a luggage bag filled with grenades. The figure comes with a display stand and is packaged in a 4-color box. Limited edition.
It it worth $175? I guess that depends on your bank account summary and your love of The Dark Knight. The attention to detail is astounding though, and would be the center piece of anyone's collection.

African American Darth Vader Figure

While thumbing through Ebay looking at custom Star Wars figures,I came across this.
I think it's a neat idea. After all, there are black Santa's and black Jesus'(or is that Jesi?) why not a black Vader. Now if they could only make a black Han Solo...wait, that's Lando.

Steam Punk Star Wars Figures...Awesome!

These custom SW figures by Sillof are probably the coolest "home-made" figures I have seen so far. Absolutely gorgeous, they look as if Hasbro produced them themselves. The detail is amazing.
The C3PO and R2-D2 are particularly impressive, and Boba Fett looks like a psychotic Rocketeer!
Sillof lends his incredible talent to all three films of the original trilogy. He has also created many other figures, such as "Star Wars 1942", "Victorian Avengers", Gaslight Justice League", among many others. This man is a genius!
Hasbro ought to get a hold of this guy and release these to the public.

Call Of Duty 4 Figures Via McFarlane

I like toys. I like video games. I like toys based on video games. If you do as well, then you will be glad to know that McFarlane will be releasing COD4 figures soon. They feature almost no articulation, but if they are anything like the old G.I. Joes I used to play with then attaching M-80's to their backs and watching their heads blow off should be just as fun. Watch those fingers.
